Day 125, September 2nd, 2013

Monday Funday today!! Off to the beach we go first thing in the morning! Nikki, Kev, Kat, Pan and I all crawled into Nikki's car and headed off to St Ambroise for some beach fun. We met up with Lisa, Trevor and the kids to enjoy a few hours of sun. The wind was chilly and I never put my feet in the water but I got some nice pictures of the water with the kids. First time using my camera at the beach and it makes me love it more and more each day. Especially trying new things with it, such as being at the beach! Wish I could've taken more pictures but no one seemed to want to model for me! LOL speaking of trying new things. I fiddled around with some of my camera settings over the weekend and was able to make some cool colour settings, nice to know you can do this as it makes some cool pictures!!

After beach time, we unloaded the car and said bye to Pan as he had to leave and the rest of us went to the pit to do some painting. I felt like the worst painter in the world and had to quit part way through as my neck was getting very very sore but everything seems to be doing just fine!

After that, we went and had some supper and I headed home to see my parents for a bit before heading back to Jordan's.

All in all it was a really good weekend. Wish that Jordan could've had an actual day off to spend sometime with everyone or maybe just me, lol but I'm hoping that this coming weekend him and I will get to do some things that we've been meaning to do. Like checking out the new wood in the place Jordan wants to get :)

Day 124, September 1st, 2013

Wow, September already! Time sure does fly by! This also means that harvest will soon be over! Not that the work stops, that just means Jordan and I get to work our buns off while we prepare for his home to come in.

Today, Jordan did an oil change on his truck while I played with kittens and than wandered the yard looking for parts from the lawn mower that his mom had lost. Off to work we go at 12:30 to only do a few loads of grain to the bin yard before having to leave to go home for supper. After supper, I headed over to Trevor and Lisa's for retro country and a bonfire with some friends. Ended up being a pretty good night. I froze towards the end and that always means home time for me! Thank goodness for Jordan and how warm he is.

Day 123, August 31st, 2013

Fresh Saturday morning and off to work with Jordan for the day. This consists of spraying a field and than sitting in  a semi all day. Well maybe not all day as a combine went down for a couple hours and they couldn't figure out what so up it went at it again. Jordan and I continued to haul grain to the bin yard and than it started to rain. Everyone got to quit for the night so off to home we went for supper. That night we met some friends at the Woody and than back to Jays for some drinks and a visit. Home to bed earlier than the rest of them as Jordan has to work tomorrow. Boo.

Day 122, August 30th, 2013

Wow, its been an insane day at work so far! Looking forward to the much needed long weekend!! Have no idea what will happen this weekend but I won't be at work! So it'll be good :)

Someone is coming to look at Hank tonight. Every
time I hear about it, it breaks my heart because each time is one step closer to him leaving.

I ordered a dozen cupcakes today too, I'll have to post a picture of those when I get them next week!! I guess an early birthday celebration to me as I don't think there will be much celebrating. Last birthday of my twenties. *gulp* makes me sad....Where did the time go?

Day 121, August 29th, 2013

Well, last night we had a few people come out to look at buying horses. Sold one for a client of ours and almost sold two of our own. It breaks my heart. I'm hoping that someone that I'm close to decides to buy one of them, than I don't have to say good bye to a horse I really really care for.

Today has so far been a bit of a gong show. Just a weird weird day. Too bad we couldn't get another power outage like yesterday. Two hours of being down and closed. We played heads up charades and that is a fun fun game!! I wouldn't mind having something like that on hand to play for a little while with a group of people.

Its cool out today, drove in the rain a bit this morning to work. Looking forward to the relief from the heat!!!

Day 120, August 28th, 2013

Hates coming to work and feeling cranky as soon as I'm spoken to. I hate snotty people.
Too much drama going on right now and I can't handle it. I just want to disappear for a little while and wait for the storm to be over.

Happy Birthday Biggs!! Hope you have the most fantastic day!!! ♥

Another freaking cranky ass day. I finally got some decent sleep last night but as per usual, never long enough. At least a calf was born today but even that news hasn't lasted. Get to work and it just sucks the energy right out of me. I need a change, I'm frustrated and I feel that I could make a major mistake by just saying, I quit. I really need to figure things out otherwise I will be out of a job and begging someone to give me money. Just completely and utterly frustrated and tired of doing the same thing day in day out.
