Another cold day,  sitting around watching criminal minds and eating ju jubes :)
Jordan is clearing snow and it seems to be taking forever.  He's been down to the neighbors already and now he's in for lunch.  Someone else has asked him to clear his driveway so now we're off to do that.  Have a good Sunday!

Day 242, December 28th, 2013

Another day snuggled up on the couch or in a chair.  Still not feeling well and the weather wasn't nice today so relaxing was allowed and the TV just happens to have a criminal minds marathon on right now *insert extreme happy face here*

Day 241, December 27th, 2013

Ugh, what a horrible sleep. I swear I slept anywhere from 7-15 minutes at a time. Darn cold. I tossed and turned and just couldn't stay comfortable. My brain wouldn't shut off and the weirdest things kept going through my mind. Just when I'd be falling asleep, I'd snort/snore a little and wake myself up. I really didn't want to snore because of Jordan, I didn't want to bother him. So when the alarm went off and he went to the barn, I played operation take over the bed. I swear I took up that whole queen size bed. I love to cuddle with pillows when I'm sleeping and since my stomach has been bothering me I can't sleep on my sides for too long so that means Jordan has been lacking cuddles. So when I had the bed to myself, Jordan's pillow got cuddles and I fell asleep.
When Jordan came back in, I got up while he had his breakfast and than I went back to bed until about 9:40 and now I'm curled up downstairs watching bride shows :) I coughed up some nasty stuff so I can breathe out my nose!! woohoo! Come on cold, get out!!

Day 240, December 26th, 2013

Boxing day! and I'm sick. Had a fever all night, internal furnace was set a little high. Sweating, clamy, gunked up throat... all the fun stuff.
Went upstairs and opened presents! I got a new laptop bag set, so I have a very fancy bag to hold everything necessary for my lap top that can hold papers, dvd's, pens, cords, etc. and another one that will hold just my laptop and cords. This is great as I was carting this laptop to Jordan's in a reusable bag and the laptop wrapped in a hoodie. So I appreciate getting a bag as this will help me greatly! City gramma and grampa bought me a Pink John Deere blanket and I'm SO in love with it! I opened it and curled up in it all day. Its warm and fuzzy and perfect :)
I hope I start to feel better soon as I don't want to be sick my entire holiday :(

so Jordan and I have been talking about NOT getting a puppy right away with his new house but yesterday we were looking at ads of puppies. I contacted one place but they were sold out already so when Jordan and I went to mom and dads last night, I asked about which dog we were going to breed Buttons too and these are the people. They sure have some good looking dogs. Perhaps when Jordan and I are ready to have a puppy, we will go see this family and find something when the time is right.

Day 239, December 25th, 2013

Merry Christmas!!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day today!

Our Christmas is a little different than most years. This is the first year that my mom has to work Christmas day, so its up to dad and I to make it on our own.
First, we opened stockings before mom went to work. Than dad and I puttered for a bit to get ready for the day. Kev stopped by to get a table and chairs for their Christmas day. After that, Dad and I headed off to his work to grab his cell phone and than to my Uncles to visit with the Dearman family.
When we arrived there, only my two uncles and my gramma were there so I really got to visit with my gramma before everyone arrived.
I haven't seen my gramma in a really long time and she had such a good day! Her memory was really good and she ate really well!! I was pretty excited to be around her, especially since she was having a really good day. She had such a sense of humor that it was hard for dad and I to leave her. Especially when dad went to say bye and her eyes welled up with tears. See, Dad is the baby in the family and so am I for grandchildren. I spent a lot of time with my gramma when growing up, we used to bake together a lot and she used to play cards with me and just was an excellent gramma. So when she teared up, dad gave in and stayed a little while longer.
When we left, we were part way home and I noticed that I was getting a really bad sore throat. Great, I'm getting sick. My dad was my mom is and now me. *sigh*.
Dad and I get home and started doing chores when mom pulls in the driveway! No way! She's just supposed to be leaving work nevermind getting home from work! Oy, so dad and I rushed, got the chores done, he made supper and I helped him finish wrapping presents.
We ate supper and than Kev and Nikki came over and we started opening presents. Jordan soon arrived and than it all got chaotic. Wrapping paper everywhere and presents all around us. We were definitely spoiled!
I have to say, Jordan's gift is incredible this year, I'm going to be spoiled as he's going to buy me a new lens for my camera!! He printed a picture of a lens and wrapped it into a box, well I know his mom wrapped it but still, it was his idea! This is great! I'm very shocked and looking forward to figuring out what lens I'd like to get!
I received a lot of camera things for Christmas this year and I'm so beyond happy! Dad got me a really nice bit and he's going to make me a head set for it! Yay!!
It was definitely a different Christmas but it was a very good Christmas. In total, I'll be having 4 Christmases. One with my parents, kev, nikki and Jordan and than one with Jordan's family. Than one with my parents, brother, Riana and girls. Than one more at Jordan's city grandparents! Glad they're spread out! Christmas day, boxing day, New Years eve and New years day!

Day 238, December 24th, 2013

It's Christmas Eve and even though I'm an adult I'm looking forward to tomorrow.  I'm excited to see the faces of those who I love open the presents I bought them and made them.  I think that is one of the most exciting things about being older on Christmas is being able to give.  The thought that goes in and knowing that you'll make someone happy is wonderful.
Tonight isn't going to be filled with tradition but it should still be good.  Jordan and I again will be separated but tomorrow I'll get to watch him open his gifts and spend sometime with the family :)

I hope everyone is enjoying the spirit of Christmas and is able to spend lots of time with friends and family they cherish and enjoy!!

Day 237, December 23rd, 2013

Well its the eve of Christmas eve and in my household, that usually means preparing for the big day. This year, I'm done all my wrapping and gift buying so I'm not overly sure what is going to happen tonight but I do know that the big day is approaching quickly.

I'm sad to say that the house again, did not come today and have not heard when it will come and this is a huge disappointment to me that we still have no actual delivery day. Its hard to not give up hope but this girl is still trying to cling on that one day they will give us a delivery date and hopefully while I'm still on holidays... :(

I was very touched that Gramma Elskamp made out the card and chocolates to Jordan and I. :)

Day 236, December 22nd, 2013

Last night was a great evening.  Enjoyed visiting with friends/family that we haven't seen in awhile.  No lack in food or drink.  Gift exchange was fun as per usual! Nice to get together at this time of year as everyone is in the Christmas spirit and happy to see one another!!

Today, Jordan cleaned snow off his pad in preparation for the house coming tomorrow or at least hoping comes tomorrow.

Now to relax as we're both really tired.  Have a good night! :)

Day 235, December 21st, 2013

Sweetwater Christmas party tonight!!!! This means clean up and prepare for evening day lol.  Poor mom is sick, dad is doing other things so now up to me! Vacuuming and dusting are my thing.  I prepped the weenies and they're warming and now to get ready myself.

Last day of work before holidays and I can't wait. Five hours and 40 minutes until I'm out of here. So excited!

Received cards and little gifts today from Co-workers! Here is one gift from Benj :)

Its Thursday and last night I received my calendars! I ordered 10 of them and they're sold out! I can't believe it! I'm probably going to place a small order for those that missed out!
Pretty excited about that! Next year, I'm going to plan it better and have it more organized!!

Day 232, December 18th, 2013

1 week until Christmas!! Are you ready?! I am!! Ha ha ha not to brag or anything, lol. I still have one little craft project left. I started it on my break and than when I got home, I started on the finishing touches. Still have a lot more to go but I think it will turn out ok!

Day 231, December 17th, 2013

Tuesday morning and I only have today and 3 days to work.. Jordan is supposed to find out tomorrow exactly when the house is coming, he just has to sign the lawyer paperwork and Steve will let him know about delivery. I'm so excited but nervous if its this week that I won't be able to get time off to be there. I have every right to be there as I've been waiting for months AND I have a holiday day for it so I better get to be there!!
Tonight is our work Christmas party and we're going to Ichiban! I've never been so I'm looking forward to it. Yesterday, amongst my crazy fast shopping, I forgot to get a gift for tonight, so on my break I walked over to Home Outfitters and grabbed something for tonight. Now on my lunch, I need to pick up something to put it in, more than likely a bag, and I'll be allllll set for tonight!
Now... just to figure out where I'm going! HAHA!!

Day 230, December 16th, 2013

Alrighty than, lets do this day! First things first... blood work! I've been fasting for 14 hours and I'm starting to get hungry! I'm in, the girl finds my vein right away and I'm done! Now to kill time until my doctors appointment. Which consisted of sitting there, playing on my phone for a bit and that's about it. Get into my appointment. Find out that my doctor is in a mood and didn't want to spend time with me. She even rushed my b12 injected and I tell you, when you rush it, it burns A LOT! Than she tells me that my CT is normal, phew, but why am I in so much pain?! Now she says, I get to get tested for Celiac's Disease and get my stomach scoped :( Booo to that!
Now to grab something to eat.. than SHOP SHOP SHOP... ok I make it sound worse than what it really is. i grabbed some breaky and than headed to the pharmacy to have some pictures printed up for yet another Christmas project, than to Hallmark to get something for my momma and try to find something for my friends baby shower this evening. Found something for my mom and sucker me found something for Jordan too.. so he has ANOTHER gift! Spoiled boy. After that it was to the bargain shop to try and find something for the baby shower since I had no luck at Hallmark. Score. Found something that is different than your typical baby shower gift! Its a firefly night light. Half plush half plastic/light. It has 7 different constellations and 2 different shapes. 7 different colours and patterns! I thought it was cool, especially since I know how much my nieces like theirs!
Went to deals for dollars, found some little extra's for wrapping that I needed and off to the post office. Well I got there too late and had to go home. Ate a quick lunch, watched some tv and back into town to the post office. Got one of dad's gifts but didn't get my calendars :( so disappointed.
After that, back home to wrap all the presents and do chores. Well wrapping presents took longer than expected and dad got home before I started doing chores so I went and did that with him and discovered that the mare and 3 foals were in with the stud and geldings. Got them out of there and still have no idea how they got in. Than dad discovered that our poor Joker had the crap beat out of him and was missing chunks and was all scraped up so he got pulled out of there and moved into a different corral.

Now its baby shower time! Have a good evening!!

Day 229, December 15th, 2013

Ah Sunday morning and we're sitting at Kev and Nikki's place waiting for Nikki to make us breakfast. At least we brought hashbrowns and aren't totally mooching ;) Jordan and I must've been thirsty because we went through a whole carton of Orange Juice x_X!!
Had a good breakfast of hashbrowns, bacon, eggs and toast :) yum yum!
After that, Jordan and I went to Trevors to get him, Annika and Espen to go pick up the couches that Jordan got the weekend before. We're taking them to Numi's as him and Dianne so graciously offered us a place to store them! So at least that is complete!
Now to sit down and watch the INSANELY wicked fall finale with Once Upon a Time... will I break into tears??

Day 228, December 14th,2013

Jordan and I finished a corner brace today.  Which is another step closer to finishing the fence.  The worst part is trying to find ambition to actually finish this fence in its entirety. After that we went to my place to move hay carry wood pails and catch Justice.

That evening went to Jays for cake and ice cream and home to bed! Night night!!

Happy Friday the 13th!! I didn't realize that it was going to be a Friday the 13th until 2 days ago, how embarrassing! haha!

My condolences go out to the Zarichney family this week. They've been going through some rough times in the past little while when it comes to animals passing away. I'm sorry for your losses as I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet. Hope you can all get through it and no more sickness comes your way. ♥♥♥

Am I in any better mood today? No. I didn't even get a chance to be in a better mood today as the first thing I did was read a message on my phone that just made me cranky.
Why can't people stand up for what they say? And why do they have to be jerks about it when the person can't even see what they're saying? Someday's, I really really hate technology and hate people. Apparently everyone is ok with what was said and its no big deal but personally, I think its BS. But why should I care? No one else does. So whatever. I'm done.

I'm having a real bad day. Not impressed with majority of the day. I pretty much wish I never got out of bed this morning and could cover my head with my blanket and hide amongst the pillows... yup. Lets hope today ends better than the day has gone so far.

Day 224, December 10th, 2013

I walked into my work only to see Bullseye sitting on top of Benj's desk! He's so cute!! I'm sure Piper more than Tanner will get a kick out of him! I'd like to keep him for myself but the point was to get him for the girls, hehe!!

I sent the site map off to our house guy and hopefully its good enough. He's thinking that the house won't be delivered until next week unless the lawyers somehow finish today and the drivers can still deliver this week but its looking doubtful. Oh well, I'm just really really hoping that it gets done early week otherwise I'll be SOL!

Its is FREEZING outside today.. -40 with the windchill. So ya, its got bite outside. Not looking forward to going out and starting my vehicle so many times today either.
One thing I have to do today and I'm not happy about it, lol, but I have to go to the Bay and go to the MAC counter to get colour for my eyebrows (I barely have any for those who don't know me in person) I'm pretty much entirely out and scraping the bottom so I need to bite the bullet and go get some more. Good thing it lasts a long time. I don't like going because I always find something I want to buy with it so I try to stay away! haha!!!

Day 222, December 8th, 2013

Oh man... I'm so happy we went to the Christmas party last night. I had SO SO SO much fun!! The meal was fantastic! Had pork roast, green/yellow beans, corn, mashed potatoes, stuffing, meatballs, caesar salad, raw veggies, fresh homemade buns and yummy cranberry sauce. Dessert was cherry cheesecake, trifle or dainties. Very yummy. After supper was a very energetic and competitive game of Pictionary, men vs. women and ended up playing a game in a half. Guys won first round, we won second round. Than we stayed out until around 3 maybe? We had to take Ryan home... lol.
Today is so cold out, I was dreading going outside but didn't end up doing anything outside and decorated inside at Jordan's parents. Looking a lot like Christmas!!

Day 221, December 7th, 2013

I worked really hard to lose 30 lbs. I was succeeding and feeling so excited about how great I was doing until I hit a major bump in the road.  I started feeling ill when eating raw veggies and bloating really bad.  I started gaining weight with sometimes up to 6 or 7 lbs. a day and losing it the next day.  The pain was getting worse and eventually making me quit eating anything raw vegetable related.  Since August I've put on 8lbs but look like I've put all 30 back on.  I went for a physical and now have been going for a series of tests including a ct scan. I'm waiting on results but something is wrong.  I feel horrible and hate looking at myself in the mirror.  My self esteem is out the window right now when it comes to my appearance. I'm discouraged and feel defeated. It changes all throughout the day and I'm getting incredibly fed up and feel absolutely disgusting
 :( whatever is wrong, I hope they figure it out soon before I lose all ambition to keep trying to lose weight.

EEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! We could and probably WILL find out when the house is coming today.. if we don't, I think I'll just CRY!!! Its so close to Christmas and I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be able to see Jordan in that house before Christmas! Here's to crossing fingers!!!!!

Day 219, December 5th, 2013

ARGH!! Tons of SNOW! Driving the gravel was insane! Good thing I'm a confident driver and have a lot of experience driving in snow on gravel otherwise I'd just sit there and cry! Some spots, I was pushing the drifts with my bumper! The worse part is, people had been down the road but with the ground blowing, it fills in the ridges of the tire tracks and makes the drifts even higher! LOL!!
On a happy note though, I ordered my pictures for Christmas cards yesterday!! So very very excited to see how they turn out!!! Hopefully picking them up today! I will give you a preview of one of the cards being put into Christmas cards though and this is an unofficial picture of the day ;)

Official photo of the day consists of trying to finish Christmas cards only to find out that I'm short on cards :( bummer.

Why oh why is this so hard? Who knew these types of decisions could be so time consuming? Am I going to make the right decision? Will I have regrets? UGH!!!! :( I don't like this at all.  *sigh*

Pretty darn excited that this morning I finished my dad's Christmas Shopping! I looked for this one particular item on Black Friday but couldn't find it. Cyber Monday deals are still going on and happened to search for it one more time and found it!! Luckily enough it came to (after taxes and shipping) only $29.99!!! Yipee!!! So glad to be finished one person!!!! Now if only I could find things like that for Jordan! Well, I have, but its now sold out :( which is realllly disappointing. *pouts*

Monday morning blues :( had a really rough night sleeping, stupid stomach! I don't sleep well on my back at all and last night I didn't have an option as I was so uncomfortable and that was the only 'comfortable' way to sleep :( oh well. I'm now up way later than I should be but I just finished ordering calendars, I have no idea if people are going to like them but I shall find out soon!

Happy Birthday to someone close to my heart regardless as to how close we are now! Love you Colin!!♡

Right now I'm sitting in Jordan's truck at Kev and Nikki's house waiting for them to come home. Jordan wandered some where with his old 22 and I'm watching Cowboy flick his ears around, must hear Jordan shooting at stuff.

Have to say I'm enjoying being able to update my blog via my new phone! I'm also trying out instagram, you can find me at Dearman1984 but don't know how to link my page! Ha ha :)
