Day 89, July 28th, 2013

Tanner's first birthday party today went so well! It was fun watching her play in her little pool and watching the older kids run around in bathing suits and play with one another.

Tanner eating her cake for the first time was awesome and the icing stained her blue!! I got some fantastic pictures of it all but with the request of my brother and sister in law, I will not post pictures of the kids online, sorry guys!

I also went for a ride in the front corral this evening, which was great! Jordan and Kev worked on roping tonight and I thought they played some fun games!

Day 88, July 27th, 2013

How do you explain to people that you feel your feelings should be considered and that you're important too. Right now, I feel forgotten. That I'm supposed to be some nice magical person that allows people who have hurt you to be around again. Well guess what? I'm not. I'm human, I'm a girl and I want my feelings to be considered and considered carefully. Right now, I feel as though I'm meaningless... insignificant and forgotten. Nice feeling to start a Saturday morning, eh?

Tonight is the pig roast in belcourt. We go every year and its usually a good time. Last year, Jordan won a scentsy for me and I absolutely love it. Well, I don't think he won it for me but I definitely claimed it.

I sure do hope today turns out better and I'm able to flip my mood, I know you're in control of your weather but seriously, my weather was just fine until that damn storm came and turned everything upside down. It should have just stayed away, like it belonged.

Day 87, July 26th, 2013

No dairymans picnic last night. Well, there was one but Jordan didn't want to go. He originally said it was my fault until I said that he was the one that said he didn't want to go so we stayed home, lol, watched some PVR'd Calgary Stampede and went to bed before 9:30. LOL It was actually nice to go to bed that early. If I had been at home, something would've kept me up. When the alarm went off this morning, I still didn't want to get up. I wonder how long until I'm out of this slump??

Day 86, July 25th, 2013

Movie Night last night, went and seen Despicable Me 2 with Kat and Nikki. It was cute, got to love those minions!!

Today is the dairyman's picnic. Its west of Selkirk and hopefully Jordan and I will be going to it. We went last year but it was much closer to home than this one is. I won't find out until later if we're going but I hope so, it was fun last year and its neat to see everyones set up.

This weather sucks so we'll see what today might bring, you never know! They're already forcasting a tornado watch. Yesterday there was a funnel cloud so hopefully all that crap stays away.

Happy 1st Birthday to my amazing niece Tanner!!!

Last night, we celebrated Dad's birthday with a simple evening. Kevin, Calvin, Mom, Dad and I hung out for a little while and than Kat, Nikki and Jordan showed up. Buzz showed up not too long after. We drank, laughed and ate cake! It was a good night.

You know those days when you wake up and you can feel that you're still angry from the night before, yup. You got that right. I'm still angry from the other nights events and how I'm supposed to get over my feelings so the ones that hurt me can come back around again. I don't know how I'm going to handle this other than I'm going to have to sit down and talk to certain people about it so they're aware as to how I feel. I've already been told that I should be over it and I am over it but hashing out all those feelings the other day was not fun and hey, why don't you put your feet in my shoes for a change and see how you would feel. Its not something I'm ever going to be ok with but hey, I got the better guy, I got the better life, so yes, I should be ok with it because I got the upper hand but when you've been hurt that bad and have these resentful feelings, you can't just say, I'm over it. These feelings of anger will soon fade just like I hope your faces do. Don't ever try and talk to me at a function like that again. It was not fair to me. That's another thing that I don't think I could forgive you for.

I got my dad a snickers cake for his bday, I hope its not too sweet for him. It looks soo good. :)

A great thing about my day though, I got to see my two incredibly beautiful nieces this morning. They're so amazing. Best thing to wake up to to hide the anger for a little while, staring at them first thing in the morning. *sigh*

Nikki bought me a book today, she said she saw it and thought of me, I love it!! Thanks Nikki!!

Day 83, July 22nd, 2013

I did not want to get out of bed this morning. I was all snuggled into Jordan and it was one of those, I hate you alarm clock moments. Although I got to sleep a little longer than he did, I just didn't want him to go.

He went off to work and I started watching True Blood when I got a text saying that I could go spraying with Jordan. So Momma J took me to Jordan and off we went. Than I walked home from the corner as he was going back to the farm so I was able to go home. I took more pictures of Anna's baby but AGAIN he was laying down! lol.

I had a nap that I needed badly and didn't do anything all day. It was great.

I'm in a bad bad mood today though so don't piss me off or you might get your head bitten clean off. Its no joke, do not poke this bear today you will regret it.

Went to Jordan's to get my stuff but he wasn't there so I went right back home, showered and texted Jordan. Off to sleep now, thanks for the encouraging words Jordan, I really needed those. ♥

Day 82, July 21st, 2013

Its the day after the wedding. We're all tired. You can see it on everyone's faces, you can see it in everyone's body language. All I can hear is how everyone has sore/tired feet. Me included. You know its a good night when your feet are tired and sore, that means you've been dancing on them all night!

Today is clean up day. Go through the food, alcohol, tear down tables and chairs. We're getting things done but definitely not quickly, lol.

We had to say good byes to the out of towners and send them on their merry way. It was nice to have a calm day although I heard it got a little bit more party later on.

In the evening, Jordan and I went home to my place for a visit and to see Anna's new baby!! He was born on wedding/anniversary day. He's the first baby out of our Quarter Horse palomino Ringo. He's an awesome colour! Everytime I try to take pictures of him, he's laying down. Little brat :)

Day 81, July 20th, 2013

Today is a full day. Today is Sweetwaters Anniversary as well as Kevin and Nikki's wedding. Its an early morning meeting at Darryl's for 6:30 and the running around has already started. We had fruit and cinnamon buns for breakfast along with champagne and orange juice. Watched the girls getting their hair done and all the smiles and giggles to be had throughout the day.

Hair and make up certainly didn't take long for us and before we knew it we were rushing into our dresses and I was doing up Nikki's dress.

It was a fast day and a good day. A little chaotic at times but I'm very happy for them and they ended up having a good wedding. DJ Gord from Body Bounce was fabulous as always and anyone who doesn't book this guy is crazy, he's so fantastic!

In the evening, things didn't go as planned for me. I don't want to dwell on being pulled out of the tent to "talk" and I'm trying to be more calm as I'm very angry about it. I'll try and do what's best for my now married friends but I matter too and people can't forget about me and how I feel. I'm going to leave it at that.

Day 80, July 19th, 2013

Its the day before the wedding and we're all spaced out everywhere. Some of the wedding party is together and some of us are doing our own thing for the wedding.

I personally, was out cutting things for the centrepieces. Driving around everywhere trying to find different things as I was able to listen to music and just drive. It was nice. At this point, I'm so tired, I don't know what to do with myself. Time is flying by and before I knew it, it was rehearsal time. Than Jordan was there with bales and than I was going to Jordan's to bed. Much needed sleep. Its going to be an early morning.

Day 79, July 18th, 2013

Morning after Bachelorette party and its time to get our nails done and pick up remaining things for the wedding. Thanks for the great night ladies!

Woop!! Last day of work before 5 days off!! Which also means, BACHELORETTE party!!!

All we did was drink wine and talk about the wedding.... it was a blast :)

Day 77, July 16th, 2013

Its Tuesday,  I'm at work and all I can think about is what to do when I get home. Lots of running around to do on breaks and lunches and than running around when I get home.

Get home, have some supper. Dad decides to let the calves and cows out with the other cows. It was really entertaining :) Now off to the pit I go.

Day 76, July 15th, 2013

Last day of being off... than I work 2 days than I'm off for 5!! Woop woop!!

Today is hair trial and shopping day. Nikki picked me up for Jordan's this morning, we drove to my place to pick up my vehicle, took her truck to Warren for tires, came back for breakfast and to pick up mom. Off to the golf course for a quick chat with Mike and than to the Hitch n post for Nikki's hair trial. We were there for a few hours and than off to the city to do some major shopping!

We spend 6 hours shopping in the city for the wedding and my poor vehicle was filled, I could actually feel the weight in it while driving!! haha.

Did a few more wedding things that night and than called it a night.

In this picture, I was playing with my camera. I took off my boots how they are in the picture not realizing that I had set them up for a pose. Oh and I didn't leave the foot prints all over the floor, thats my dad. lol.

Day 75, July 14th, 2013

Busy morning! Yeesh! Jordan and I headed over to my place with Dads truck still on the trailer. When we arrived at my house, Fred was over so YAY for help to unload the truck! That was a quick and easy experience, thankfully. After unloading the truck and placing it where its staying for now, Dad Jordan and I loaded up and headed for Jean's!

W got to Jean's and I immediately head over to Zelda and her baby as I just love the baby. She was cute and cuddly as before and I got some decent pictures of her. After that, we loaded up the trailer with some hay and headed back for home as Jordan was on a tight time line.

That night, Jordan and I came back to my place where Kat, Nikki, Kevin, Mom and dad were and we had an excellent wedding discussion! I think lots got sorted out and hopefully this week is a smooth and easy week! I desperately need sleep.

Day 74, July 13th, 2013

Saturday, its the weekend, yipee!! Had an interesting day of buying fencing supplies for Jordan's place and than trying to unload it, lol. Stopping in at Trevor and Lisa's where they proceeded to feed us fresh picked strawberries and Trevors awesome Greek salad :) Than Jordan and I went to my house to chat with dad for a few and than back home for supper and chores. That night Dad Jordan and I went to Ashern to pick up dads new truck and that felt like forever, lol. But we got it. Now to fight the bugs all the way home. *sigh*

Day 73, July 12th, 2013

Its Friday, its Friday!!!!!! So excited for it to be Friday and so close to the weekend! I have 3 days off and although I'm sure they'll be jam packed, I'll be glad to not wake up to an alarm clock that makes ME get out of bed, haha sorry Jordan ♥
Yesterday, I made up a drink of the red fruitopia and coke zero (whenever I get a fountain drink and that's available, I do it) and than I put whisky in it... Oh wow, it was tasty goodness. Kind of want to do it again today, LOL!! Tasted like a carbonated juice cocktail thinger of awesomeness. That's my goal of today, to try and find something to make this drink for the weekend! After this week, I need one... oh my what will happen after next week?! LOL!!!!

Day 72, July 11th, 2013

I'm tired, my patience is little and I have no time for bullshit people or bullshit cows. I'm annoyed with things right now and I wish I could open my mouth and say something to someone right now but that would cause too much ruckus for certain events. I'm tired of people thinking they're above everyone else. You're not the god you think you are so just freaking get over yourself, ok?!

My day has just been stress from the moment I woke up. I'm exhausted, I'm not sleeping well and these damn cows are pissing me off. One has teats way to big for a calf and than the other doesn't want her calf, would rather be with the other cows. Just annoyed right now.

9 more days to the wedding!!! We're down to a single digit countdown! Things are really falling into place! Mom Dad and I had a great talk with Nikki last night, happy to have those nights. Just wish those nights meant sleeping well and waking up feeling more rested :( Hopefully tonight will be a better sleep.

Day 71, July 10th, 2013

My blog is having issues. I haven't been able to update my blog for a few days as it wasn't allowing me to type anything. I'm still having issues with it but I'm trying to cheat between html and regular compose. So hopefully a ton of updating will happen tonight when I get home to add all my pictures. I daily update my blog at work so when I'm writing it IS daily just need to add pictures and update and I'm good to go! So I'm sorry about everything being late and breaking my rules but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do!! So I'm hoping the issue will be resolved soon and that I don't always need to go back and forth!!

I love my new hair, Angie really chopped it off. My hair was below my waist, it would touch my jeans now its above my bra strap for those that need visual! So yes, I cut a huge amount of hair off but my hair grows FAST! It grows about an inch a month so it really doesn't take long! Angie's salon is nice, its what she's been looking for, which is great for her since she's been wanting this for so long!

Tonight, I get to test out my portrait skills with my new camera! Tera is coming over to get her wanted posted done! Pretty excited to see the results!!

Day 70, July 9th, 2013

They're not orange!! bahaha!! Good to know. Still can't decide if I'd like to do this before the wedding. My budget is strict right now so I'm thinking its a no. Possibly try and get more sun before the wedding! I get my hair cut tonight!! Super excited to see Angie and her new salon in Elie!! I'm also very much looking forward to it. I'm thinking of going something new, which is fantabulous!!

Day 69, July 8th, 2013

Today, I went to the physiatrist. I didn't get all the answers I was looking for because they would like to block my neck to see where the pain is coming from. In order to do this, they must inject a needle into my neck with freezing a long with a contrast injection so they can see where the freezing is going. They must do this via x-ray! Interesting. I'm not sure if I'd like to proceed with this as they say my pain has to be quite high that day and I've been pretty moderate and by moderate I mean like a 5-7 instead of 10. So we'll see how this goes. After work, I joined up with Kat and Nikki to do some errands which included them getting a spray tan at TanFX. They said it went ok and felt sticky/greasy afterwards! Looking forward to seeing the results as they say the colour doesn't come out until the next day! Hopefully they're not orange!!! hehe.

First full day with my new camera! I am so stoked about this! I pretty much carried it everywhere with me! Still trying to figure a lot out as I've read a lot about the camera but its totally different once it's in your hands! I got some great pictures and I can't wait to keep exploring with this camera!!!

EXCITING DAY!!! Found a crazy deal so YES! I bought my camera!! So excited! It came with a case and an extra battery for the lowest price I've ever seen this camera at!! Can't wait to play my little heart out!!!

Day 66, July 5th, 2013

Go Team Go!! Last night, Kat and I went to Jay's to help Nikki do centre pieces after a very yummy supper at Mr. Perogie. Jordan had texted me and said that he had wanted to go swimming so Kat and I were like OK! Let's get these centre pieces done and lets go swimming!

We were able to do all our centre pieces or at least the small parts of the centre pieces in an hour.. That's tape glue and glitter! We ran out of tape other wise I would've drilled the rest of the centre pieces out faster! We needed to get those done and we wanted to go swimming so pump up energy and lets give'r!!!

We did those in an hour. Yes, we rule! I kept saying, we can not let our OCD get the best of us... well mostly MY ocd, lol.

After that, Kat and I met up with the rest of the gang to go swimming, that consisted of Jordan, Trevor, Annika, Jesse, Julie and Sheldon. When we got there, they hadn't even been in the water yet! Yowza! So we hopped in and had a good cool down and left quickly once we got out of the water as the bugs were getting bad. Went to Trevor and Lisa's, stayed far too late but enjoyed the visit.

Today, I don't know where my brain is. Its there but kind of in LA LA land. Drove to westgates on my lunch to see if they had anything cool as they had a poster on FB saying they had sales. Got there and was disappointed. They have hardly anything right now. Especially hardly any Montana Silversmith :( so back to work it was.

Now I'm counting down to my shift being over, Geez I can't wait to get out of here. Why? No clue, I have no plans, I'm just that tired!

Day 65, July 4th, 2013

I really think people took their stupid pills this morning. More traffic on the roads this morning than earlier in the week and just because a car is just over a cars length away from me doesn't mean you squeeze into that space. Ever heard of safe driving distance? I also had to slam on my brakes so hard that the items on my back seat hit the floor, which is not a good thing. Good thing the items are tougher than they could've been.

Driving down route 90 south, the lights are out at dublin. Cadets are directing traffic and somewhat breeze through that intersection only to come across the dreaded Tim Horton's drive thru line up. When you see that its packed in the parking lot and people are starting to block a lane of traffic, maybe you shouldn't stop to try and go in that line up as well as YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO BLOCK TRAFFIC TO GET INTO FREAKING TIM HORTON'S! That was a major bee in my bonnet. That annoys me so much. Are people that lazy that they physically can not get out of their cars and walk into the building and get their coffee? Or how about just making it at home, do you know how much money you will save making your own coffee?! *grumble grumble*

Wow! People are messed up today! A member just reamed me out! Oy, this is going to be a long day. Anyone for a whisky?!

Anywho, Kat Nikki and I are supposed to meet tonight to do centre pieces, hopefully we finish those tonight and another thing to add to the checklist.

Last night, I was going over my speech and rearranged it all. I wonder how many times I will do that before the wedding?

Day 64, July 3rd, 2013

Weird weird day at work but hey! After work I was able to pick up my bridesmaid dress! I went home and helped dad put in the 2nd air conditioner in our house, had supper did chores and than tried on my dress for my mom with my boots. I didn't even look at myself in a mirror, I trusted my mom saying that it was cute and that I looked fine. I'm just self conscious...

Today, I bought some baking soda, peroxide and a new toothbrush. I'm going to try it and see if I can make my teeth whiter... tmi? I don't know, we'll see how it goes! Maybe whiter teeth for photos by wedding time?!

My mom also gave me this gradual toner for my legs since they do not want to tan! They have a little but not nearly enough. I'm a little nervous of using it... maybe I'll just try and tan some more! lol :)

Day 63, July 2nd, 2013

Intersting day its been. Went to Stonewall to get my B12 shot, waited around 50 minutes to get in and only to realize I had forgotten my B12, well didn't really forget, more or less grabbed the wrong box. Sad that I have enough stuff to grab the wrong box, right? Anyways, the doctor had some in her office so luckily I got my shot!
I got a phone call from my seamstress that my bridesmaid dress was ready, so off to Warren for that! Than I walked around the memorial gardens in Warren taking some pictures. I have never been in there before, have to say I was pleasantly surprised!
Headed for home to check troughs and sit in a rocking chair trying to get some sun for this wedding. I hate tanning but I'll look better if I'm not pasty white.

Happy Canada Day everyone!!!!!

Casual relaxing day, went to Matlock with Jordan's family to visit city gramma and grampa. Headed over to Gimli to eat fish and greek salad at Beach boys and than stood on the beach and watched the water for a little while.. Had a good day, simple.



Day 61, June 30th, 2013

Busy busy busy day! Well for the guys anyhow.. I helped Maureen with Sonic while Dad, Jordan and Calvin built the bigger round pen with the help of Linda.

We than moved Cassi and her baby to the front corral. Wowza, Can this baby run!! I'm so impressed!

Than we loaded up the youngsters with the help of Kevin, Nikki, Jordan, Dad and Calvin. We dewormed them and took them to pasture.

After that, Jordan and I went home for supper, thought of going to Lake Ambroise but came back here instead and just relaxed before heading over to Tanya's for Canada Day celebrations! Love firework pictures!!!

Day 60, June 29th, 2013

Whisky sour day but slushy form?! I think so! The beauty about running errands for boys is that they don't know the benefits us girls have when we do it.. such a whisky sour slushy's. hehe.

It was an exciting day for Nikki and Kev as they got the tin up on their roof. Hot hot day which made the slushy awesome.

Come night time, when it cooled off.. the bugs came out :( Hide inside or enjoy the gazebo? I did both.

Day 59, June 28th, 2013

Yay! Finally heard from the surveyor! He'll be out within 2 weeks but the poopy part is that land titles is what takes so long, we could potentially be waiting 13 weeks for the official land title. Neither one of us wants to wait this long but I guess there isn't anything we can do about that!

Buy one get one for a loonie. Now, I'm not a huge fan of old navy but I must say, I've been rather successful finding clothing there for the summer time. It is what it is.. but these are my new shades. I think I now have 4 pair including the ones lasik md gave me, lol.

Day 58, June 27th, 2013

STILL no email... *insert tears and frustration* I have emailed him, hopefully that will get him to email me. I hate being impatient but its not fair to be told you'd receive an email on Tuesday with quotes and time frame and it be Thursday and not have received it.

Went out with Erin and Laura last night, I love those girls, they're incredible. Hopefully no one has to Poop! bahahahaha. Love you twoooooo!!!

I went and got the material for the bridesmaid dresses today to make the belts. They gave us material for free so I'm really hoping this all works out. Michelle is definitely going to use her magic. I really hope nothing else goes wonky for this wedding because seriously... enough has gone on.

More rain for today... still ouchy on the eyes. Sorry to everyone who doesn't want overcast but it sure helps me! lol :)
